pony camp day 4

 

 

On our fourth day of pony camp we did a different thing.

We went in and got our helmets and boots.

Then we waited in the box room for everyone else while Niamh (our teacher) explained what was going to happen.

Instead of doing our lesson we were going to go in the forest because it was Halloween.

We all had to agree that we were going to do that.

Then when everyone came we got our ponies out.

My pony was Freckles who is a aploosa.

Three girls came to do the walkout with us.

When everyone was up on their pony we started to go.

When we were going up hill we had to lean foward then when we were going down hill we had to lean back.

After doing the walkout we had a snack.

Then we were doing stable managment which is learning how to take care of your pony.

We were learning about the safety knot.

Then we learned about the stables and how to get your pony in the stable.

After we ate lunch.

I had a ham with cheese and lettuce sandwhich with Oddites.

After we did a race with brushes.

We got into teams and someone will call a type of brush and we have to run and get the brush and run back and drop the brush in the bucket.

At the end of each round whoever gets the most correct brushes win.

It was a draw 4-4.
