haribo ice cream

 

 

I had haribo ice cream.

The ice cream was strawberry flavour and then where you hold the ice cream has gummi bears.

The ice cream was delicious.

The ice cream had a strong smell of strawberry.

After I finished the ice cream, I popped out the gummi bears.

it took me a while to pop out the gummi bears.    

bracelet

 

 

 

I am making a bracelet.

The colours are green,red,yellow and blue.

at rirst my bracelet was all wonky because I forgot to do something then i realized why the bracelet was messed up.

t he bracelet is easy to make and the pattern is simple.

cupcakes

 

We made cupcakes.

We made a cupcake with jam inside.

We made normal cupcakes.

then we made mini cupcakes with a giant chocolate button ontop.

Then we made some normal mini cupcakes.

After we still had the cake batter left so we added long colourful sprinkles in the batter and put that in mini cupcake cases.

Then we put in tray by tray in the oven.

then the cupcakes were ready.

After lunch I had a normal big cupcake and cut it in half.

Then mummy added blackcurrent jam and mascarpone cheese.

Then we put the other half of the cupcake on top to make it a sandwhich.

The cupcake was delicious.

 

riding lessons

 

 

 

Yesterday I went riding at the paddocks.

I rode on a horse named Sparky.

I don't really like Sparky because he is lazy.

We learned how to trot and steer and jump.

I had to stand up and steer to make it harder.

i also hadd to stand up when Sparky had to go to the toilet.

After we just walked around and trotted.

Then we gave our ponies a big pat and got off our ponies.

After getting off our ponies I went over to Freckles ( my favourite pony) and hugged him.

Then it was time to go home.



pizza and salad

 

 

 

Yesterday I helped make the lunch.

Yesterdays lunch was pizza and salad.

First we made the salad.

We made the dressing.

Then we tore up the lettuce.

Then we added corn and canneli beans.

Then we added boiled egg.

Then we started getting ready to make pizza.

We didn't make the dough so my mum bought dough.

My mum cut up the ham into square pieces.

Then she taught us how to cut up the olives.

After we cut up the olives I cut the pineapples because I was the only one who wanted to have pineapple on the pizza.

Then we put the toppings and the sauce on the pizza and put the pizza in the oven.

While the pizza was cooking we started to make daddy's sandwhich.

After we all ate lunch the salad and pizza were excellent.

My brother loved the pizza.

My mum got us hot water bottles.

The actual bottle part is white.

Then the cover is brown fake fur.

You put boiling water in bottle and put the bottle into the cover.

You use a hot water bottle when you are cold.

You normally take the bottle up to bed.

I put it under my feet in the bed so my feet get warm.

We made a chocolate palmiere.

We used nutella for the chocolate part and we used the same pastry (puff) as the tomato and olive palmiere.

The chocolate palmiere was good.

We had them for breakfast, and they came out of the oven so they were even better.

The pastry was all puffy and chocolate was all like a melted texture though the chocolate didn't drip.

The chocolate palmiere was delicious.

The tomato and olive palmiere was also good.

We had that for lunch and dinner.

I rolled the pastry up for both the palmieres.

My sister spread the tomato and olive sauce on to the pastry before I rolled them up. 

 

piano exam

 

 

 

 

Yesterday I had my piano exam.

I was doing grade three.

We took the dart to get to the royal Irish acadamey of music.

Most people just say I am doing academic or trinity.

When we got there we had to go to stand outside of room 30.

But since we were early we went to find a seat and read.

Then at 1 o' clock I went back to stand outside room 30.

My exam was meant to be at 1:15 but then something messed up because my exam ended up to be much later.

I got a man for my examiner.

We made toad in a hole.

Toad in a hole is sausages and yorkshire pudding.

We used three sausages.

That red thing in the picture is red onion chutney.

After making the toad in a hole we ate it for dinner.

I didn't like the yorkshire pudding.

We made ice-cream.

All we had to do was add milk to the contents in a bowl and mix until the size expanded twice its size.

Then we added ginger cookies, marshmallows and strawberry sauce.

The flavour we got was chocolate so we had to think about what goes well with chocolate.

Then it had to go in the fridge for at least 4 hours.

Then after dinner we had the ice-cream.

The ice-cream was delicious.



ring!

 

When I had Barm brack I got the ring.

I thought I couldn't ahve got the ring because I only had a little bit of cake left.

Then all of a sudden I found something hard in the cake.

I opened my mouth and I took the ring out of my mouth.

The ring was wrapped in paper.

Then the actual ring was gold.

It was cheap ring.

At least I got the ring.

 

hair curler

 

 

Yesterday I went to Boots (a store.)

We got a hair curler.

Then when we went home after swimming mummy curled our hair.

Then this morning we curled our own hair.

It is a little bit hard to curl your own hair because you can't see the back of your hair as well as the front.

The hair curler is hot.

It takes a while to curl your hair but eventually you will get there.

Yesterday I went to Claire's.

I got earrings for myself and my sister.

I got nine pairs in total.

Three fruits, three hearts and three flowers.

All the earrings I got were sterling silver.

Every Sunday we are going to change earrings. 

desserts

 

 

Yesterday I went to a bakery called Bakelicious.

The bakery is near where we live.

When we went in you could see how the bread and desserts were made.

There wasn't much in the bakery because we went early.

I chose a brioche and a strawberry mousse in a heart shape which was excellent.

My brother also tried someof the brioche.

We also got three muffins.

One was choclate orange, berries and chocolate chocolate. 



last day of pony camp

 

 

 

On the last day of pony camp we brushed the ponies and did a lesson.

I rode on Freckles.

We did a walk, a trot, a sitting trot and a jump.

Then we did around the world.

After we had a snack and learned how to put a saddle on and off.

Than we had lunch.

I had and tuna and sweetcorn with lettuce and Oddites.

Than we fed our ponies.

After we braided our ponies.

I had barm brack for breakfast.

Barm brack is a type of cake with lots of raisins and a ring in the middle.

I didn't get the ring.

Barm brack is a traditional Halloween food.

Whoever gets the ring will get married.

Barm brack is delicious.

Most barm brack has a ring in it but some don't.

  

pony camp day 4

 

 

On our fourth day of pony camp we did a different thing.

We went in and got our helmets and boots.

Then we waited in the box room for everyone else while Niamh (our teacher) explained what was going to happen.

Instead of doing our lesson we were going to go in the forest because it was Halloween.

We all had to agree that we were going to do that.

Then when everyone came we got our ponies out.

My pony was Freckles who is a aploosa.

Three girls came to do the walkout with us.

When everyone was up on their pony we started to go.

When we were going up hill we had to lean foward then when we were going down hill we had to lean back.

After doing the walkout we had a snack.

Then we were doing stable managment which is learning how to take care of your pony.

We were learning about the safety knot.

Then we learned about the stables and how to get your pony in the stable.

After we ate lunch.

I had a ham with cheese and lettuce sandwhich with Oddites.

After we did a race with brushes.

We got into teams and someone will call a type of brush and we have to run and get the brush and run back and drop the brush in the bucket.

At the end of each round whoever gets the most correct brushes win.

It was a draw 4-4.
