eatser break day 1

On my first day of the Easter break I went to mount usher gardens.

This wasn't the first time I went here.

We were meant to go with my mum's friend Diane, but we didn't see her so we went on the trail without her.

We saw so many pretty and colorful flowers and plants.

Once we finished we went to look around at the stores close by the garden.

Then we saw Diane, outside and my brother and sister told my mum.

Diane came over and greeted us.

Since we did the garden trail we decided to have lunch at a café.

I had a rocky road and hot chocolate. 

Then we went home.

Diane came over to do some gardening with us.

We planted turnips and lettuce.

First we got bags and filled with soil.

Then we got the seeds and scattered them.

After we watered them and pushed them into the soil.

We had to use a spoon to water them as the seeds were small.

 

  

bracelets

My mum bought these colorful rubber bands to make jewelry.

We made a bunch of fishtail bracelets.

I also made a lot of the bonbon bracelet.

I love the rainbow loom.

It is so cool.

I use loom love tutorials it is very handy.

 



spring cleaning

 

 

Yesterday I had to clean up my drawer.

There was a lot of bubble wrap which took up a lot of space.

The rest was fine.

My sister had to get rid of loads of things from her drawer.

WE also had to clean up the toys room. 

maple cookies

 

 

 

My dad went to Canada for one week and came back with these scrumptious maple cookies.

They had cream in the middle of the two cookies.

The cookies tasted a lot like maple syrup like the packet said.

There was 24 cookies in on packet, so my dad got four packets.

I had hot cross buns for breakfast.

I loved them.

They had raisins which I don't normally eat.

They also had orange skin which were delicious.

There was a white cross in the middle.

The shops only sell them during Easter.

That is my easter egg.

It has a picture of a cupcake on it.

The egg looks so good, but I won't be able to eat it until easter.

I wonder what flavour it is.

leinster b swim gala

 

Yesterday I was at the Leinster B.

The gala was a school gala not Barracuda.

We had to wake up early and leave 7:15 to get to the place where they are hosting the gala.

It took forever to get there.

We came in our tracksuit with our swimming togs underneath.

At 8:30 the girls warmup started.

Then at 8:45 the boys warmup started.

At 9:00 the gala started.

I was in event 3 which was girls 10 50m backrawl.

I came first in my heat but came fourth in my race which meant I was one away from a bronze medal.

Then I had to wait until event 17 the medley relay.

My relay team was Castle Park B.

There was Ashley doing backrawl, Avery doing breastroke, Emma doing butterfly and me doing frontcrawl.

We came first in our heat and second in our race.

Castle Park A came first.

They had Beata, India, Laura and Jemima.

So I got my first medal which was a silver.

Then I had to do two more races.

One was frontcrawl which I came second in my heat but I don't know about my race.

The second one was the frontcrawl relay.

I was on CP B with Ashley, Avery, Me and Emma.

We came first in our heat and second in our race.

CP A came first.

I got two silver madals and they are my very first.
